How it all began

Hi, I’m Sarah!

I love dogs, and have for as long as I can remember. As soon as I got my hands on my first camera, the subject of my focus was immediately on my dog at the time, my awesome stubby-legged sidekick: Buddy the corgi.

As a photographer, I strive to capture pictures of dogs as their people see them. You deserve to have beautiful images of your dogs that show how incredible and special they are to you.

When I’m not taking photos of dogs, I can be found training (both personally and professionally). I am a professional dog trainer focusing on puppy foundations, manners, basic obedience, and reactivity, but I also love competing in agility, rally, barn hunt, disc, dock diving, obedience, tricks, and more with my three border collies – Quest, Arrow, and Squid. Pixel (the namesake behind Pixpup Photography) is happily retired from competing and exploring, and now spends her days snoozing in sunbeams around the house.

My experience training and competing with dogs means I have worked with nearly every breed, every age, every size, and a ton of personalities. I know what makes dogs tick, and I know how to get everything from the rowdiest hound to the more sensitive flowers to shine through my camera.
